In June, the AP to Producer training was put together by members of the Nonfiction TV organizing committee and established freelancers in the industry. There were over 50 freelancers in the industry in attendance. The Nonfiction TV organizing campaign aims to raise standards in the industry and a part of that is filling the voids in the industry, such as a lack of formal training. With the appeal of the Spring and Fall AP to Producer training, we plan to continue this program going forward.
